Happy 2012

W’e've been getting a lot of “Where have you been, lately.”   Like most of you, we were busy getting ready for the holidays.  Answering the door for UPS and Fed Ex.  Decorating, wrapping, cookie baking, (thanks Syb), aqnd all the other things necessary to make the holidays special.

After the elections were over and we digested the results, there wasn’t too much more we had to say. The voters of North Greenbush have spoken loud and clear.  We have glanced at the Sewerline on occasion, post election, and truthfully haven’t seen anything worth commenting on.  It’s the same old Chuckie slinging the same old baloney.  If and when he actually comes up with something remarkable, then we will remark.

We do, however want this blog to continue to be a place where they can comment and express there views about the Town or County.  The blog will be checked regulaly and we hope there will be plenty of dialogue happening here.

  1. It’s good to have you back. Lots of us were concerned and glad to hear it was just the hectic holiday season that kept you busy. The swearing in ceremony at Town Hall was a happy and festive event. Congressman Chris Gibson said a few words of encouragement for the New Year. Our newly elected Supreme Court Judge Ray Elliot thanked everyone in North Greenbush for supporting him – the numbers in NG helped put him in his new position. Supervisor Al Spain made reference to all of the different parties coming together to getting our town back on track and moving forward to make North Greenbush a place where we are proud to live and raise our families. Several other elected officials were also present and acknowledged by our very own Councilwoman, Kelly Hoffman, joined by Councilman Joe Bott, who made some welcome statements. It was an encouraging and positive event that restored hope that North Greenbush is in a position to move forward and in the best interests of the residents of our town. Thank you for providing this forum to inform the residents of North Greenbush what they should know is happening and how they can make a difference in our town,

    • Happy New Year! The plan is not to respond to Chuck every time he repeats the same old crap as usual. We will however, correct as much of his misinformation as we know about. For an example, the letter in the recent Advertiser about Al and Lou escaping from a meeting called by the Supervisor. Was it really at Jo’s request or was it Chuck who wanted the meeting to benefit his buddy Mark Primo? Did Chuck actually think that anyone would stick around to do HIM any favors? He must have still been spinning around due to election aftershock.

  2. The swearing in event was a well attended and positive event. Great to see Congressman Gibson there. The organizational meeting went off without controversy. A great start to the year.

  3. If the rest of the year goes as smoothly as it has begun then NG will be in good shape. Charlie can run his mouth all he wants – nobody is listening. Town Hall will be a much happier place to work too.

  4. I hear some new faces will be appearing in Town Hall both in the court and the Supervisor’s office. Welcome, the fewer Charlie informants there the better off we’ll all be. The Sewerline is quiet, it hardly gets any better than this.
